Nature's World demonstrates practical ways to improve our quality of life and the environment.
This unique visitor attraction, extending to over 25 acres, provides a model for a balanced and sustainable future.
We illustrate the steps towards sustainability from traditional composting and organic gardens, showing how nature sustains itself,
through and along our 400 meter long working River Tees model and Reedbed system and (by summer 2001) finishing with our futuristic eco-structure and hydroponicum (garden of the future.)
Our Environmental Education Programme encourages enquiring minds and you can find out more by going to the workshops page. Be sure to take the tour which features a quiz about the environment. And don't miss the Tees River model which shows the plants and wildlife in our area. We also have an attractive Nature's World Membership Scheme.
