It's a Bugs Life!

Ladybird bugs and blow up insects are just some of the attractions at a new indoor play facility for children at Nature's World, Acklam. The creative play centre - 'Play World' is aimed at under 5's and contains a wide variety of play equipment, all based on a gardening theme, including ride-on diggers, playhouse and garden, caterpillar tunnels and soft-play corner.

The admission price is just £1.00 per child, accompanying adults are free. Other facilities include a tea room/coffe shop, baby changing and food warming facilities. Stuart Goldie, Manager of Nature's World said "We wanted to provide a facility for pre-school children that can be utilised all year round".

The launch of Play World complements other new outdoor play areas and the space-age Futureworld 2020 development. Other new facilities for children include ride-on tractors, an outdoor sandpit, role-play and dressing up, computer terminals and the region's largest embankment slide.
